The attorneys and staff at Schlesinger & Strauss LLC are gearing up for a busy month. Attorney Gary Schlesinger is a speaker at a Lake County Bar Association seminar on family law scheduled September 13.2017. His topic is sanctions for violating various procedural statutes.
Rachael Bernal, a 2017 graduate of the University of Illinois College of Law and a law clerk in the office, took the Illinois State Bar Exam in July, 2017. We all eagerly await the notification in October of her passing the bar exam. She will then be an associate lawyer in the office.
Attorney Michael Strauss attends monthly meetings of the Illinois State Bar Association Family Law Section Council of which he is the secretary. Next year, he will be vice chairman and, for the 2019-20 bar year, he will be the chairman.
Gary has had three articles published in 2017 by the Illinois State Bar Association Civil Procedure Section Council Monthly Newsletter – more than any other member!
